One thing we can all agree on today: we are living in a unique time in history, and we desperately need leaders equipped to help us navigate all that we face in these unprecedented times. Enter David Prosper and Shepherd Revolution. With a heart for raising up leaders for the next generations, Prosper launched Shepherd Revolution to guide young, developing leaders to learn to lead from the heart. “Most leadership training is based on behavior. We need to work at changing the heart and how we relate to God.”
Why Shepherd Revolution? Prosper shared with us the very meaning of these words. “Shepherd: leadership, to guide, to protect. Revolution: a shift in paradigm. In this changing world, we need a change of how leadership is done. When leaders get better, families get better, communities get better, and our world gets better.” How does Prosper plan to do this?
Global Youth Leadership Summit, August 3-5, 2020. With eight speakers presenting leadership lessons, from across the U.S. and internationally through daily devotionals, hip-hop and other dance performances, fitness and work-out sessions, this leadership summit is filling the need in discovering, developing, and empowering young leaders not only in intellect, but in the physical and spiritual as well. In fact, the physical and spiritual needs are so important to Shepherd Revolution, they are putting their money where their mouth is in partnering with Compassion International to support youth and children from all over the globe; now that’s global impact!
During a time of social distancing and fear-based leadership, the Global Youth Leadership Summit seeks to create healthier communities through Revolutionary Leadership. Times are changing rapidly and the need for young leaders to evolve is at an all-time high. This summit is for the ages of 11 to 17 years old, but moms and dads you are more than welcome too!
The Global Youth Leadership Summit is just the beginning. Prosper and his team have plans in the works to have a unique online/hybrid K-12 academy to be launched for the 2021-2022 school year. In true Shepherd Revolution form, not just intellect, but leadership, theology and physical needs will all be the focus of this unique, dynamic education for young leaders.
